What is a doula?

A doula is a support person who supports you from belly, to birth and beyond! A doula is a trained, non-medical professional who provides physical, emotional and informational support before, during and after childbirth. A doula advocates for their birthing client and empowers her to achieve the birth she desires.

My mission as your birth doula is to provide the best professional and personal care to assist you in coming up with a birth plan that aligns with you and your partner’s wishes. I will help you become as informed as possible about your childbirth options, help empower you to voice your needs during labor, and provide comfort for a sense of peace and calmness if unexpected interventions arise. I will respect the medically trained professionals who are caring for you and I am committed to helping you achieve a safe and satisfying birthing experience. I would be honored to be a part of your birth story!
